Collective Action for Lasting Change
Together for Prosperity (TfP) is a community-based initiative designed to improve the livelihoods and dignity of women in low-income households across Nigeria. We work with women’s savings groups and cooperative societies in low-income communities to promote their participation in the informal labour market through microentrepreneurship. Her Advantage leverages the collective strength of women’s groups to provide financial literacy training, facilitate access to financial resources, and provide a strong support system of mentors and peers.
Although resourceful and hardworking, these women are often excluded from economic opportunities that could help them grow their businesses and improve their wellbeing. TfP aims to address this marginalization by economically empowering women, lifting them out of poverty, and building stronger and more resilient families.
Our Multi-Pronged Approach
Community sensitization, identification and pre-screening of women’s groups.
Disbursement of loans.
Monitoring visits and periodic training to support the businesses.
Monthly savings and premium collection.

A Structured Model for Enterprise Growth and Financial Inclusion
Together for Prosperity (TFP) is the flagship programme of Her Advantage Initiative.
It is a community-based enterprise development and financing model designed to support low-income women entrepreneurs in underserved communities. TFP works by organizing women into cooperative structures, equipping them with enterprise and financial capabilities, and linking them to structured capital and financial systems.
The goal is not just access, but the ability to build sustainable, income-generating businesses over time.
How the Model Works
TFP operates through three integrated components:
Enterprise DevelopmentWomen entrepreneurs receive practical training in:● Financial literacy● Business management● Savings and working capital managementThis ensures they are prepared to use capital effectively.
Structured Capital (RILF)Through the Revolving Impact Loan Fund (RILF):● Women receive working capital through cooperative groups● Capital is repaid and redeployed across multiple cycles● Access is based on social collateral and group accountabilityThis enables financial access for women excluded from traditional systems.
Financial System IntegrationTFP integrates women into formal financial systems through:● Digital wallets and payments● Structured savings mechanisms● Financial identity building over time
PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY TFP provides a structured platform for partners to engage with underserved women entrepreneurs at scale. We work with:● Financial institutions and fintechs to provide savings, payments, and credit infrastructure● Training institutions to deliver enterprise and financial capability development● Donors and foundations to support programme delivery and catalytic capital● Corporate partners to expand inclusive economic participation
Through TFP, partners gain access to organized, financially active networks of women entrepreneurs.
Building Pathways to Prosperity
Together for Prosperity is designed to be scalable, adaptable, and impactful across communities.
We are building not just a programme, but a model that can be replicated and expanded to reach more women over time.
