Protection and security against life's uncertainties and risks

The objective of this program is to increase marginalized women's access to gender-responsive social insurance, such as health insurance and pension, so that they are better prepared to deal with life contingencies that can negatively affect their financial security. Women often face gender-specific vulnerabilities such as informal employment, caregiving responsibilities, and economic exclusion that constrain their access to social insurance. This program aims to address these barriers so that women can maintain financial independence and dignity even through shocks and stresses.

Empowering young women for financial success

Our Smart Start Financial program is designed to equip young women in tertiary institutions with the essential financial literacy skills, knowledge, and information that they need to thrive in the workforce. As they transition from higher education to the labour market, many face significant challenges and uncertainties about personal and career finance. Our program aims to bridge this gap, providing them with the tools and expertise to make informed financial decisions and achieve long-term economic stability.

Care Counts Program

Recognizing and redefining unpaid care work

Our Care Counts program shines a light on the often-overlooked value of unpaid care work in households and communities, and its profound impact on women's financial security and empowerment. By engaging communities, stakeholders, and the media, we aim to shift societal attitudes and promote a more equitable distribution of care responsibilities. This intervention will increase awareness about unpaid carework value and impact; shift societal attitudes toward recognizing and redistributing care responsibilities; and increase support for policies that promote carework recognition and redistribution.

Micro Enterprise Empowerment Program

Our program is dedicated to empowering women micro-entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary grants and support to grow their businesses and achieve economic independence. Through a combination of financial grants, business training, and market linkage support, we aim to enhance their business resilience and economic empowerment. By supporting women micro-entrepreneurs, we can create a ripple effect of economic growth and development in communities.
