Recognizing and redefining unpaid care work

Our Care Counts program shines a light on the often-overlooked value of unpaid care work in households and communities, and its profound impact on women's financial security and empowerment. By engaging communities, stakeholders, and the media, we aim to shift societal attitudes and promote a more equitable distribution of care responsibilities. This intervention will increase awareness about unpaid care work's value and impact; shift societal attitudes toward recognizing and redistributing care responsibilities; and increase support for policies promoting care work recognition and redistribution.
